⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) Ladurée at Place Victor Hugo offers the classic Parisian patisserie experience in an elegant, slightly quieter setting compared to their Champs-Élysées flagship. The boutique is charming, with beautiful displays and attentive staff. That said, I found the macarons a bit too sweet for my taste—while the texture was spot-on (crispy shell with a chewy center), the sugar tended to overpower the more delicate flavors. It’s likely a matter of personal preference, especially if you lean toward less saccharine desserts. Still, it’s a lovely stop for gifting or a quick indulgence, particularly if you appreciate Ladurée’s aesthetic and legacy. Just be prepared for the signature sugar rush!
Elegant experience here, having an afternoon snack, coffee and macarons. Atmosphere seems very fancy and the waiting staff were friendly. Visited with a 3 year old toddler and they had a high chair as well.
