I had been passing by this coffee shop for a while and finally decided to stop in for a coffee. I ordered a matcha and a tuna sandwich, and I really loved how well the sandwich was made, it felt fresh and nicely balanced, not too heavy. I also didn’t realize how popular this place is. Even at around 9:15 PM, while I was enjoying my matcha inside the café, there were many delivery riders coming in to pick up online orders. I can’t wait to try more items from their menu. See you next time, Joe!
I had a great experience at Joe & The Juice on Avenue Victor Hugo! The place has a nice atmosphere, but what made my visit truly special was the service. I would like to give a special thanks to Raphael — he is such a kind and welcoming person. He served me with a smile, was attentive and created a really positive vibe. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so comfortable as a customer. Thank you Raphael, for making my visit so enjoyable!
The Worst Joe & The Juice Experience — How to Ruin a Great Brand I want to start by saying that I truly love Joe & The Juice. When the brand was just starting out, we used to drive all the way to Nice Airport just to enjoy an açaí bowl — that’s how much we appreciated the quality and atmosphere. We’ve also enjoyed visiting Joe & The Juice locations across the Middle East and in other countries — it was always a reliable go-to for fresh, tasty options and a great vibe. But today, I had one of the most disappointing experiences at the location on Avenue Victor Hugo. The café was very dirty, and there was an awful smell (photo attached). I was served an açaí bowl with frozen purée stuck at the bottom, overly warm fruit, and a runny almond paste instead of the usual thick peanut butter. Even the cappuccino was a disaster — just look at the photo. I want to be clear: I don’t blame the staff. On the contrary, I truly feel for them — it must be incredibly difficult to work under such conditions. It’s not their fault there aren’t enough working fridges or that the space isn’t being kept clean. These are management and operational issues that need urgent attention. If I didn’t already know what Joe & The Juice is supposed to be, I would never come back after this visit. It’s sad to see such a great concept being so poorly represented.
I ordered for takeaway, you can imagine my shock, when I found that my Tunacado is burned and the salad looked like someone ate half of it. This whole thing coast 20.30 euro. Not cheap. Shame on you, I won’t be ordering from you again.
I really like the brand and the deserts. I work just next to the place so I have the chance to always have a sit and enjoy the food. Unfortunately last time I went the waiter made a mistake and didn’t made my sandwich with gluten free bread and I just realized when I was about to finish the sandwich. I hope this mistake do not happen again. Cheers for the raw coconut square . 💘 Ps: I suggest everyone to download the app and participate of the club to win points from Joe & the juice when you buy something. ☺️
