We waited a very long time for incredibly below average food. Do not waste your time eating here with so many good other restaurants around. Maybe the coffee is okay but we didn’t even bother after the food.
Terrible service, I went to pay inside and repeated our order in Spanish after which she started communicating in English so I repeated myself. She already had an attitude problem, then after 4 attempts I paid to realise 5 minutes later she brought another 2 coffees! She charged me twice for her mistake and blamed me by telling my friends in Spanish I didn’t tell her I wanted to pay for the existing order. Coffee was very average and not worth it!
Slow service and a chai latte that was a disappointment in a cup. Postales de Café recently opened a new location in Juárez, taking over what appeared to be a previous coffee shop. Never having tried Postales before, I decided to give it a shot. There was only one barista on duty, and despite just two customers ahead of me, the barista took quite a while (over six minutes) to prepare their drinks. While I understand that the café was understaffed, it didn’t seem professional for a business to operate this way, especially during busy hours. By the time the barista was done with the drinks, the line was well out the door. The café’s small interior made the line a bit chaotic, though the barista did manage to keep track of who came in first. I ordered a chai latte with oat milk, and while the barista was a bit more efficient with my drink, the result was disappointing. The chai, labeled as a masala chai, lacked flavor, and the oat milk (or the lack thereof) resulted in an overall watery taste. The “latte” aspect was practically absent. Although the prices were reasonable for the area ($56 + $16 for oat milk), I didn’t enjoy my chai and would have preferred to go elsewhere for a better experience.
Very sweet little place and terribly sweet service. Good coffee, breakfast and....thai food. Bit of a strange combination but they manage.... for now I just tried the thai chicken. That's certainly not the best I ever had but it comes with a very good rice. So taste, quality, price I think its worth its money. I should try the tom kha soup or the terriyake to be sure they manage really well but I ate more than enough just with this one plate. I'll be back to try the rest!
An excellent place for a light healthy lunch. Very friendly staff, an interesting and fresh menu and the best coffee in Mexico City. Well worth a visit!
