Writing this from a tourist’s perspective :) This is a great authentic Mexican cafe with authentic options that are so reasonably priced. Nothing over stylised or trendy just good old fashioned food. We had the set breakfasts that include juice or fruit. we enjoyed the pancakes which were so tasty and trying the molletes. Also lovely staff. Recommend ☺️
Cafeteria Gabi, now Gabi’s Cafe. I discovered this wonderful place many many years ago. Mind was totally blown when I saw all of the coffee paraphernalia along the walls. The owner was still with us in those years and he would make his special coffees in the morning and then roast in the afternoon. Such a nice person. His daughter, then in her teens I think, at the time, spitting image of Salma Hayek, is now the dueña of this family business I believe. Wonderful family. Wonderful people. Highly highly recommended.
Does Gabi's even have a sign? If so, I didn't see it, but it's worth your effort to seek out this local hole-in-the-wall cafe. Nothing fancy here, just casual Mexican fare at affordable prices. Chiliquiles, enchiladas, enfrijoladas, tostadas... all delicious.
Such a gem of a cafe in Juarez, with a full menu of Mexican breakfast favourites. Old school coffee machines of all kinds line the walls. The type of place where regulars speak to each other across tables. Dog friendly.
This place is definitely a hidden gem! Everything I have tried is really tasty! You can definitely find some basic/local mexican dishes here and they are delicious! The service is also great. I have been coming here for years for breakfast, lunch and even dinner!
