Review of Series Coffee Roasters: A Hidden Gem in Balinese Style Series Coffee Roasters is a great hidden café that beautifully combines Balinese house settings with Japandi interior design, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The aesthetic is warm and cozy, making it a wonderful spot to relax with a cup of coffee. Parking is available in the yard, but the café tends to fill up quickly, so finding a spot can be a bit challenging during peak hours. It’s worth arriving early to secure a space! The coffee here is outstanding, as they roast their own beans, resulting in a rich and flavorful brew that’s sure to satisfy any coffee lover. In addition to their excellent coffee, they also offer delicious cakes, bread, and canelé, all of which are well worth trying. However, the seating area is quite limited and can feel a bit cramped, which sometimes leads to a messy service experience. I hope they can find a way to optimize the space so that guests can fully enjoy their time without feeling like they’re in a crowded cafeteria. Overall, I really appreciate the quality of the beans and coffee at Series Coffee Roasters, and the prices are very reasonable. This café is definitely a hidden gem worth visiting for anyone seeking great coffee in a charming setting!
A small, homey cafe in Sanur, one I’ve visited several times for their filtered coffee, matcha, and shio pan (salt bread). You really have to try their filtered coffee because there’s a wide range of options, and each cup feels light, clean, and incredibly refreshing. The matcha is also quite good, umami with an earthy depth. Don’t miss their shio pan, especially the original and tamago versions. Savory and buttery, crispy outside and soft inside. Undoubtedly one of the best coffee and salt bread spots on the island. Moreover, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are genuinely friendly, and it’s a lovely fouch that the owner also greet and chat with guests 💫🤎
I just visited Series Coffee Roaster in Sanur. The place is quite hidden, but surprisingly crowded people still manage to find their way there just for coffee. The bakery is insanely good, especially the shiopan tamago. It tastes amazing when it’s still warm crispy on the outside, and super soft and creamy inside. The space has a beautiful Japanese style design with a well thought out layout. It feels cozy, cool, and comfortable. The only downside is that it’s a bit small, with limited seating. Parking, however, is spacious. The service was great as well the staff were very friendly and welcoming, always smiling. Will definitely come back for the shiopan.
In a calm neighborhood in Sanur, tucked a simple yet beautiful coffee shop. Good coffee, good food. I don’t usually like scones, but I was tempted to order as their scones have this appetizing look that I couldn’t resist. I wasn’t wrong on my instinct, it was one of the best I’ve tried so far. The coffee? Flatwhite was made to my liking and there was no complain that I can make. I love how relaxing and calm the atmosphere here, paired with great coffee and food. It is a place that I will come back again.
Comfy coffee shop Japandi style near renon/sanur area. Newly opened. Coffee is very good. Pastry and cake are nice. Ambience is quiet and perfect to slowly start your day in the morning. It becomes one of my favorite spot now in Bali for my morning coffee routine after cycling. Kudos for the owner. Very well recommended place
