Brasserie Meuwese

Sitting in the outdoor area was really enjoyable. I had a pasta that was absolutely delicious. The French fries were so good that we ended up ordering two portions. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Café Brasserie Meuwese became our go-to spot — we ended up going four different times during the same vacation because it was just that good. Casual, welcoming, and consistently delicious. We tried the croquet Madame, rich and satisfying salads, steak with fries, a classic Dutch pancake, and finally a burger — everything was comforting and well made. It’s the kind of place where you walk in easily, eat well, look outside at the snow falling, forget about problems, and simply enjoy the moment. A great experience every time.

Love love love it! Please try Stew Beef Penne! I ordered Pea Soup and Penne, both were absolutely delicious. Thank you for providing kids friendly options for the menu. My daughter love the plain pasta too. Very welcoming place ❤️

My wife and I had lunch/brunch at Café Brasserie Meuwese during our short stay in Amsterdam and really enjoyed it. My steak frites was probably the best meal I had the entire trip to Amsterdam, and my wife’s pancakes were great as well. Side note, I didn't like the fries or anywhere else in Amsterdam. Maybe its just me. We sat at the window counter and loved people watching while we ate. The only minor downside was that the wait staff wasn’t very attentive, not sure if that’s just the local style but otherwise, the place was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!
