We went to celebrate our anniversary and the experience was a 10/10. The meat, cooked for 24 hours, was very juicy and incredibly flavorful (and I’m not usually a big fan of meat). The carbonara was spectacular as well, and so was the pasta with clams. I would have preferred the tiramisu to be a bit more traditional, but it was still very delicious. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely, a place we would return to.

Highly recommended Italian restaurant. From the very beginning, the friendliness and politeness of the staff really stand out. The ragù pasta was delicious, everything is homemade: the pasta is freshly made in the kitchen and the ragù meat is top quality. The desserts were amazing. Special mention to Fabio, who is very kind and welcoming, always with a smile, which makes the whole experience even better. We will definitely come back!

I really enjoyed the pappardelle, which was a unique twist with its mushroom and truffle filling—highly recommended! However, the swordfish didn't quite match our expectations, similar to the starter in flavor. We also ordered asparagus, but it was a bit on the limp side rather than crispy. We experienced a wait of 20-30 minutes for our dishes, and everything arrived ALL at once, which made the table feel a bit crowded. Overall, it felt like a standard Italian dining experience, not quite living up to the 4.7-star rating from over 5,000 reviews. It was also not fully booked or filled up, so feel free to walk-in! On a positive note, the interior was lovely, featuring a hanging fireplace, and our waitress was friendly, even if she was quite occupied.

This Italian spot is an absolute gem! The ambiance is stunning—cozy yet elegant, with warm lighting and tasteful decor that makes every bite feel special. The service was top-notch too; the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The food was pretty good，but it’s the beautiful setting that really makes this place a must-visit.

What an amazing dinner. The food was perfection. From the fassona beef carpaccio to the home made pasta, the wines and the desserts, all were wonderful! The wine list had many lovely bottles to select from and the service was sincere and welcoming. Assaggi was so exceptional that we went back for our final evening in Amsterdam. Fabio even brought his wine merchant in with some special bottles to pair with our (previously requested) 4 course truffle dinner! I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend the evening. The owner Fabio is a pleasure to talk with. A wonderful and genuinely caring man. His passion and enthusiasm is shared with his guests. Bravo. Amazing evening. Thank you for making our last night in Amsterdam so memorable.
