Terrassencafe im Hundertwasserhaus

Very poor service and extremely rude staff. Right from the start, after we sat down, we were told we couldn’t use the restroom. It seems you have to be in real urgency before being allowed to use it. We were seated outside at a table for four people and ordered two espressos and one special coffee. However, the fourth person in our group was not allowed to remain at the table without ordering something, even after we explained that she was feeling unwell and had a stomach ache. On top of that, we were charged more than €1 extra just for adding milk to the coffee. Overall, a very disappointing experience. This bar is not worth visiting — especially considering there are much better and more polite places just a short walk away.

A small café at Hundertwasserhaus, a good place to dine at while visiting the apartment. I had thin wheat noodle beef soup to warm myself during the cold weather and tried their apple strudel (not the freshest).

Food option was limited. Staff are good. I understand the toilet access scenario with the huge tourist crowd that turns out everyday. I only wish they had a better food options available.

For first time visiting this cafe and I ordered a cappuccino and when I went to pay the owner told me to pay cash only and I told him I wanted to pay by card and he told me that if i pay with card 10 euros the Cappuccino and cash 4.60 euros. Unacceptable and the menu it is charged the Cappuccino at 4.60 price . I do not recommend it at all and I will also report it to the Austrian consumer organization. Because he saw me as a tourist he treated me like that, I will soon report it to the state tax office.

Nice place with an amazing atmosphere.. If in Vienna please do visit for a short break.. Food was up to expectations and Coffee was delicious.
