Amazing place and amazing dishes, a bit pricey but it was worth it

Absolutely outstanding experience at Café Rathause. The food was nothing short of exceptional, the staff were incredibly kind, and the atmosphere was simply beautiful. Every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming. I honestly don’t understand how this place has “only” 4.2 stars — for me it’s a solid 6 out of 5. Pure satisfaction from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Went for late lunch at 3pm, there were only 2 or 3 other customers so it was really quiet and cozy. Staff was a little cold at first but was still attentive. Lovely chicken schnitzel and potato salad! Chicken schnitzel was hot, crispy and super tender. Food prices were not very expensive, but I do find the cafe latte too weak. They do ask for tips when making payment.

We randomly stopped by while waiting for our hotel check-in and it turned out to be such a lovely surprise. I tried the Apfelstrudel, cordon bleu, and French fries and everything was delicious. Cozy spot in a very central location, definitely worth a visit

I planned on visiting one of the nearby restaurants, which was closed, so I popped by here for dinner. The service was great and the ambiance was welcoming. My family and I had some fruity and some ginger lemon tea, which both smelled and tasted great. 3 stars for the food because the appetizer, the shrimp cocktail, made me nauseous and ruined my palate for the entire evening. I managed to stomach the potatoes served alongside the pecher (maybe wrong) fish i ordered. My family enjoyed their pan-seared salmon, but the roast beef had to be returned as it was too salty. The chef returned it and it tasted better. The fresh orange juice still had pulp in it, and although I didn't mind, it may be off putting for others. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend here if you're looking for a variety of dishes to try.
