The staff is very kind They have at least 5 cats and all of them were friendly. The prices are obviously a bit high but they have to take care of these many cats somehow. I thought before going that the drinks would be an overpriced cheap drink but it was pretty good, pleasantly surprised.
Contrary to the negative reviews we had abseloutly nothing to complain about. We got seated immediately, didn't even sit for more than 5 min before the very lovely worker came and talked to us and handed a printed menu. She was very accommodating and spoke English very well. No troubles there. She was back again within 10 min and we ordered, again, our food AND drinks was delived around 5 min too. She was incredibly kind and casual towards us and both the food and drinks was delicious and lacked no flavour. We got a chocolate cake and some creme cake, was delicious. The cats was adorable and I think I fell in love when we sat down. They seem well cared for and well fed, none meager and none overly chunky. Yes they where all over the place at times, playing and just exploring the tables, as well are they little rascals (one tried sneaking into a lady's bag) but they DID have places to go hide and get away from customers and the shop. As well the worker treated the cats nicely when getting them off the empty tables (which she wiped down) The time we spent there we observed that other customers also got waited on rather fast, and this is all considering only 1 person was working. There was also a family who came but was in a pleasant and nice way refused, considering they had very young kids with them, she was not rude at all. It should not be the cafe's fault that people can't prepare themself for rules, rules that are set in place for the cat's safety and comfort. During our lunch we did observe a child, presumably over 12 but very young, repeatedly disturb sleeping cats or try and pick up the same cat that ran away from her, without any correction from her adult companions. It's written to let cats sleep and not pick them up, so you see, it is more than fair to refuse children. Besides the cats did relax and sleep and they where very adorable, I took it as my job to fotograf all the ones we saw, but a few left before I got to it. In total we saw around 9 cats in the hour we sat there. A tip is to aim for the couches as the cats prefers going there, and you can see, interact and play with them more.
Quirky place! You really, really need to be into cats to visit this place!! Our daughter wanted to try, so we gave it a go. Very friendly service but thats it for me. Refreshments were very basic and pretty pricy for such a cafΓ©. Been there, done that, never again.
A very pleasent cat cafΓ©. Service was kind and quick, despite the heavy workload. The cats are adorable, but it would be really great for the atmosphere of the place if they adopted more cats.
Such a lovely cat cafe. They don't charge entrance fee, but the money you pay for the coffee and cake go towards running the cafe and looking after these cats. The staff are so lovely and the cats are so adorable. Highly recommended.
