Traditional French bistro food in a popular, convivial restaurant with sidewalk tables....
Lovely quiet street to dine at outside table and take in the ambience. We had the French onion soup and escargots, shared the hanger steak with scalloped potatoes and salad, with beer and wine, creme brulee and espresso. Great service, very attentive and great tasting meal. You won't be disappointed. Merci!
Wonderful. The owners were hospitable and interesting. The slow cooked duck with potato cooked in duck fat was simple and simply one of the best meals I had in Paris. The escargot was perfect - I could have eaten another two dozen - the house red well selected and the atmosphere warm and authentic. A great last meal in Paris, I hope to enjoy it again.
visited this in peak dinner time and got a chance to sit outside, the man that greeted us was really kind and polite! we had 2 entrees, french onion soup and escargot. both are AMAZING :) and we shared one main course and they gave us a seperate plate with a bonus for the mashed potato :). recommend for have an french food with amazing atmosphere and affordable price
Initially wanted to come at La Vieux Bistrot near the place, but due to not reserving me and my friend couldn’t get in and had to find another place for dinner. We came to this place without expectation and the food and ambience were really nice! We ordered the french onion soup, escargot, and beef rib eye 300 gram with cheese mashed potatoes, all were heavenly. What was even nicer was me and my friend shared every menu and the server gave us two plate for the steak (and gave us extra mashed potato)!! the gesture was incredibly appreciated, I think this resto had the friendliest servers during my 3 days in Paris. Would come back and recommend!
A very nice Bistro. We were some of the first seated for dinner and it filled up in less than 30 minutes. The two gentlemen running the service that evening were friendly and helped with the wine selections. The meals were very good as well as the desserts. We came here based on the reviews and we were quite pleased.
