Lamian Latian

Only four stars for the "atmosphere" because it's a tiny restaurant and I would have preferred a little less heat and fewer cooking smells. But that's not the point at all. The food was absolutely delicious. Paris is full of Chinese restaurants, most of them pretty average. This one reminds you what a difference it makes to have someone in the kitchen who can actually cook! Normally, too, desserts are the disappointing part of the meal but this was definitely not the case. Excellent.

Truly a hidden gem, that I thank instagram for shedding light on! Lamían Latían, is a small, warm & intimate space with a fantastic playlist! The food, SUPERB 🍜 We both had the noodles with pork, one smokey, the other regular. Both, slurp worthy. To start we had matcha lattes along with pork dumplings. The venture to Lamían Latían is a wonderful stroll along narrow streets, many little boutique store fronts and restaurants. Make sure to make a reservation, seating is limited ✅

Little hidden gem off the too turistical Rue Mouffetard where I NEVER eat. This tiny place serves simple but delicious homemade style food at very affordable prices. With 2 improvised friends met at the door while queeing for a shared tiny table, i tried the excellent pork baos, and the so tasty chashu pork belly lamen soup. As we were the last clients, after 2:00 pm, all desserts had disppeared😟. But the Cheffe offered to prepare an improvised mochi, Tiramisu style. Amazing combination, of a cloudy rice dough, exploding on a coffee/ cream flavor. A must try in this no gourmet environment. The husband Anthony, offers a perfect service, sprinkled with lot of jokes😁. Beware you will get addicted

10/10 rating it is! I had the traditional pork Lamian and it was exceptional. Rich, creamy broth, perfectly seared pork, and even the tofu (a surprise addition!) was delicious. Paired with white tea it was perfection. Incredible food, amazing team, I highly recommend checking it out!
