All the other reviews are accurate. This place is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff helped us order (our French is bad, their English is excellent) and they were kind to our family which included two jet-lagged kids. Everyone in the place was gracious and it really did feel like hanging out in your coolest friend’s basement. It is HOT (this was June on a mildly warm day) so be sure to get a cold drink. They have many options, so it can be helpful to read their menu ahead of time. We plan to visit again very soon.

Great place! The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Everybody also speaks English. They have an arcade/game room downstairs which runs on free play. The entrance is 7-10 euros and a drink is included. Each additional 30 minutes is 3EUR. You pay at the end. They also serve food upstairs. They have a lot of manga, ani ne stuff too, but we went mostly for the dance machine. Would visit again. 5*

This spot is in a really cool neighborhood tucked away off the main drag. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They boast 85 milkshake flavors and have a basement full of classic video game consoles. My daughter was over the moon and we felt comfortable and welcome.

My husband and I found the Extra Life Café on a recent trip to Paris and I'm so glad we did. The selection of new and retro games was amazing. The staff are friendly and really know their stuff. Great value, and they have every Mario, Street Fighter and Tekken game imaginable.
