Refined brasserie dishes in a classically decorated venue with velvet seats & sidewalk tables....
It was my second visit recently and I didn’t find the waiter as responsive (very cute though) as for my first visit. I recommend the beef tartar and the Pavlova. I want to thank the people who took my booking because it was a bit unusual.
This is what a proper Parisian coffee shop should look like. Welcoming, professional, and they even started speaking in English, which is quite uncommon in Paris. I also left an item behind (yes, it was chocolate), and the staff promptly answered my call and reassured me they had found it. Prices are a bit above average, but that’s expected and reasonable considering the overall experience. I’ll definitely return on my next visit.
A wonderful experience at Café Ruc in Paris. The service was incredibly kind and welcoming — Adele took care of us and was absolutely lovely. She helped me choose my dish, which turned out to be a fantastic truffle risotto, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I paired it with an excellent Pinot Noir, which made the meal even better. And as if that wasn’t enough, there’s a friendly cat in the café! Calm, affectionate, and happy to be petted — such a charming touch that made the atmosphere even more special. Highly recommended for both the food and the warm, cozy vibe.
The food was good, especially the French onion soup, which I really liked. The service was excellent—we didn’t have to wait for a table at all. Our waiter, Ramazan, was very kind, patient, and friendly with us. Highly recommended.
We had an excellent dining experience at Café Ruc. The onion soup was rich, thick, and packed with cheese and flavor. The snails were absolutely outstanding. The veal Milanese was perfectly crispy, served with delicious red spaghetti on the side. A special thank you to Jeremy, the Lebanese waiter, for his warm and attentive service. He truly made our visit memorable. Highly recommended!
