The food was great for the other dishes, but the steak and fries weren’t the best. The fries were amazing but the steak was very hard to cut and bland. The others weren’t too bad but they were abit cold. On the other hand, although in a busy cafe, we’re doing very well and even felt with a very grumpy customer seated next to us. I’d say check it out but definitely not a big recommendation. I had the steak and ultimately switched to a pasta, which was cold.

Very delicious duck confit and beef beef bouginion match with wonderful red wine. Lovely service lucky enough to have the violinist in front of the restaurant to enjoy the evening music

The duck dish had a bit too much salt and lacked spices, but maybe that’s just their style. The Ribeye steak and burger were incredible, bursting with flavor and juicy goodness. The location was also fantastic!

We were recommended this place by another restaurant. It was late for dinner, by our time, 8:30. But this little gem was cozy, had a pleasant atmosphere:people seemed to know each other and lots of good natured greetings. Also had a decent menu. The fellow who looked after us, Charles, gave recommendations. We had a marvelous beef bourginon and my nephew tried escargot with fries. Well seasoned, tasty morsels....not the over salted pea sized things I had at home before we left. The macaron dessert was a good portion to finish off everything. All the staff was pleasant and understanding when we had to stay a bit longer because our Uber guy got stuck somewhere. Was this "authentic" French food? Honestly, I could not say. But it was delicious, warmed us to the bones, and kept us in good spirits for the whole of our visit. And the storage elevator built into the floor was really cool.
