J & J Books and Coffee

Such a cozy place filled with books, I loved it! The barista was super friendly. P.S. One of the prettiest bathrooms I’ve seen t the cafes :)

I popped into J&J’s for the first time since it’s been under new ownership to attend a book swap. The space is refreshed and beautiful, with an upstairs and downstairs that both invite you to sit down and stay awhile. Calidadprecio is great with their menu. I’m a New York-transplant bagel snob, but theirs is pretty good—a little doughy, a little light on the schmear, but great flavor. I love their initiatives to foster a community feel with different events and gatherings. Staff is friendly and bilingual. Would love to return to try the natural wine offerings. Seems like a place you could post up at for a few hours for reading, journaling, or catching up with friends. I’ll be back.

A place that feels like home! The staff is incredible, from Connor’s humor, Scott’s hospitality, Andrea & Alberto’s attention to detail, this place is just the best place to come to hangout, get work done, and the bagels are incredible! They’re the perfect size, really reccomend the Italian bagel. Trivia nights are crowded and fun, great way to meet new friends and become a part of a community in Madrid. Highly reccomend!!

This is the most beautiful cafe/bar in all of madrid! I had my birthday celebration here and they truly made me feel so special. The place has such a vibe, the atmosphere is lovely and the employees are the nicest. if you’re looking for a cute coffee spot to read and hang out on your own, or an amazing place to hang out with your friends this is the spot

Postponed my train just to visit this place again one last time before I left Madrid. The staff is super kind and friendly. It's a very cosy spot, books are priced reasonably, good beers and natural wines. You can definitely spend hours here, alone or with company.
