After a long day of traveling and shopping, you're ready for a good cup of coffee and something delicious. El Corte Inglés seems like the perfect spot. But unfortunately, this time it was disappointing. The friendliness wasn't the problem. We were warmly welcomed and politely escorted to a table. We ordered an espresso and an Americano. The service was prompt, but then the disappointment set in. The espresso didn't live up to expectations: no recognizable crema, not a full flavor. After reporting it, we received a new one, this time with crema. Unfortunately, it was so hot that it tasted like it had come straight from the oven. My advice for the next team outing? Sign up for a barista course. And I haven't even mentioned the deafening music that suddenly blasted from the speakers. Gone was the quiet moment for yourself. In short: this wasn't an experience you'd expect from El Corte Inglés.

I found the staff to be excellent both times I went, and the coffee cups are very pretty! The Christmas decorations are spectacular! I think it's a great way to take a break from shopping and have a drink.

Food: 1. Egg Benedict on toast with salmon and avocado - too much sauce and the egg was undercooked, the white was almost transparent, but the combination was delicious if you remove a little sauce and I did not eat the egg. The salad was served with a very tasty sauce. 2. Salad with chicken and avocado, it was delicious but too much sauce. 3. Dessert cake with strawberries, the most delicate cream, a very tasty cake! It was the best. 4. Black tea with milk, was excellent! 5. Fresh orange juice is excellent. Service: had to wait to place an order. Atmosphere: great atmosphere, the establishment is in the very center of the shopping center, the noise is not very distracting. Dishes: the establishment needs to update the dishes and wash them properly. Some plates with chipped edges. The teapot and cup have stains from the tea that was served to the previous customer. Also, the chairs need to be dry cleaned. I would come back here again, as this is my favorite El Corte Ingles. A great place for breakfast.

The cocktails taste really bad and considering the price it’s a shame. The finger food is not as bad but still they give the minimum and the staff is not that nice and attentive. I do not recommend at all.
