This café is one of my friends’ and my favorite spots in Madrid because of its cozy atmosphere and convenient location near Retiro Park. This was my third visit, but unfortunately the experience with the staff has been disappointing every time. While we had already ordered coffee and were still choosing pastries, the staff repeatedly tried to take the menus away and insisted we move to a table, even though one of us was in the bathroom. The way they guided us to the tables felt quite rude and unprofessional. It’s a shame because the pastries, especially the gluten-free options, are actually good. However, the immature and unprofessional attitude of the staff ruins the experience. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Cute cafe where you can have an early breakfast. We enjoyed the avocado toast and sweet potato fries. The coffee is also delicious here. The inside is a little small so it may be difficult for parties larger than 4 to get a table
I’ve been here multiple times and genuinely love the coffee, which is why I was excited to finally try the brunch with a friend. Unfortunately, it was really disappointing. The pancakes were honestly inedible, you have to pay extra for every topping (which is fine), but even with fruit and syrup they were incredibly bitter, almost spicy in a wasabi-like way that scratched the throat. I managed to force down one thanks to the fruits and left the other. I’m surprised given how good the coffee is, I think there’s definitely room for improvement, especially considering you can find better brunch options at a lower price point nearby.
Hidden on a narrow street, this modern coffee shop is easy to miss but usually packed. We waited about 15 minutes and got seats at the counter. The croissant was fluffy and crunchy, and both the matcha and flat white were spot-on. Great vibe and quality coffee, really worth a stop!
Great coffee and breakfast spot! Lots of breakfast/ brunch and coffee options, and everything beautiful, delicious and fresh. We had the yogurt/ granola and overnight oats, but the eggs and toast options also looked great. Staff were very friendly and the space is very beautiful.
