Chocolat

Having tried churros in couple of places in Madrid, this is definitely the best among them. Pretty good churros accompanied by an excellent ( for my taste) chocolate. But the highlight is the service, everyone is kind, with a smile - much better than other "famous" churrerías, where you feel unwelcome the moment you step your foot in! Close to paseo del prado, it's worth a visit!

Stuffed churros (churros rellenos) were so fresh that we had to wait for a while to have it cool down. It was great, the coffee was average. The staff was friendly and sincere. We asked for 3 churros but the waiter said it's too much for 2, and we ended up barely finishing those two as well.

Did not particularly enjoy the churros, too salty for my taste. Also didn't find the service to be great. I would skip.

Their hot chocolate is generously a big mug! And it’s so thick! Literally like they melted a big chocolate bar in the cup It’s a bit too sweet to my taste but maybe it’s due to the big portion and thickness. Another good thing is their price is better than the other fancy chocolaterias in tourist zone and also I enjoyed my quiet time here in the morning

Tried both the churros and porras, loved the chewy texture! This was my first time dipping them in chocolate. I expected it to be sweet, but it tasted more like thick chocolate mixed with water. Not sure if that’s the authentic style, but personally, I prefer sweeter chocolate.
