Gourmet coffee served alongside a menu of pastries, pies & charcuterie, plus wine & beers....
We were hesitant to visit due to the review score. I’m not sure if they’ve had a bad patch or maybe a change in management. The place was full, the food was pleasant, classy vibe, and the price was very reasonable for London. Solid coffee. Great Reuben sandwich. Would recommend if you’re in the area or waiting for a train at Kings Cross. No regrets!
After receiving poor service from a nearby restaurant, we decided to have coffee and cake here for our dessert. Our experience could not have been more contrasting - greeted with a warm smile, Hayley found us the only table available. She showed us pics of the available cakes on her own phone and couldn't have been more helpful. Soon after when we saw others on a more suitable one leaving, we asked and Hayley insisted on cleaning it thoroughly for us before delivering our order. She is a credit to herself and the organisation, we really enjoyed our visit - it was brilliant to have the totally opposite service experience and end our evening so positively. Thank you for looking after us Hayley - fantastic work.
A long weekend in our favourite city….strolled through Regents Park, Camden and Coal Drops Yard and found ourselves looking at this relatively new cafe near St Pancras station. First appearance was good and the cakes in the window were waving at us !! So we had two and a couple of lattes. It’s in a busy area but next to a delightful water feature and was perfect for people watching. The service was good and it provided us with perfect respite for 40 minutes. Ah well…off to see Coldplay now 😃‼️
Was passing through Kings Cross and stopped in for lunch. We ordered: - super breakfast - Reuben’s sandwich - Orange juice (this small drink cost £4.80) - espresso - hot chocolate The food was okay. The super breakfast - everything was separate so I had to assemble it, which meant it was cold by the time I finished doing that. (See picture) Service was friendly but a bit slow.
Decent place for a coffee and a bite to eat relatively near King’s Cross Station. It seems to be quite a popular café, so it can get a bit busy. They have a good amount of seating outside, with some downstairs and upstairs inside. We had the Egg Mayo on a Brioche Bun and the Hot Croissant, both pretty good. The coffee is decent enough, as you would expect, and we also had the hot chocolate with run off the seasoning menu, which was quite tasty. The service was nice enough and all in all, felt like a pretty standard for a sit down café with table service. Would not have any hesitations around coming back.
