Small branch within St.Pancras Railway Station. With o/s seating and three tables. Nearest to Platform 1. Which was ideal for me. Staff friendly too.

Baristas need to stop chitchatting and ignoring the customers they are halfway through serving and trying to tell another customer before me that their payment didn't go through. The young lady with the headscarf didn't even listen to my order which she got completely wrong (gave me the wrong milk for my drink) and didn't give me a chance to scan my app. I was in a rush to get the train so didn't want to waste another minute. Generally I find the service ok when I visit once in a while but this particular day was not impressive.

Ordered a large latte because I wanted a larger drink than my reusable cup would hold (usually a small size). Felt very light when I picked it up, so I waited until I got on the train, then poured it into my small reusable cup... and it fit, with space for the lid too. Latte was nice but I would like the amount that I actually paid for.

I'd asked for a medium iced green latté, for which you obviously pay more. I hadn't realised that it would come 3/4 consistency of ice cubes. Dirty, sly tactic to make money and cash in at your expense. "Give the punters mostly frozen water then put the least amount of content in." This method of serving did them no favours as I will never go into a Costa again. I cannot recommend this outlet.

Always amazed how friendly and helpful the staff manage to stay here, extremely busy spot with no let up in customers. Never had a problem with food or drinks here (despite some reviews moaning about quality) Seating is shared with the other food outlets on the level, so can be a bit of a scrum, but this is better than it used to be now Prezzo has closed.
