We had the sharing menu. Half of the dishes tasted really good. The other half was okay. Two of them had a too strong vinegar taste. The meat was cold and dry. Desert was great! All in all not very special
The current 4.8 rating is misleading. The food was remarkably dull and bland, lacking the seasoning and quality I expect from the Copenhagen dining scene. The lamb was particularly poor—it felt pre-cooked or boiled and then just quickly roasted, resulting in a very uninspired texture. Service was fine, though the restaurant was quite chilly and lacked atmosphere. Ultimately, the meal felt very "standard" and didn't hit the mark. 3.0 stars at best.
Love the place! Great coffee, delicious food, cozy atmosphere. Absolutely stellar service. And the little touches that make all the difference: Water for your dog in case you're lured in by the coffee during your walk, hygiene products in the bathroom in case, well, you know what. Special mention for the background music which is exactly that: Background. That's something many cafes and restaurants could learn from... I stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant entirely by accident while looking for a place to hold a little birthday get-together: The door was open while the owner was doing prep work for the evening, and I entered to inquire about the opening hours and to see what kind of a place this was. What a stroke of luck! Had a lovely chat with the owner, sampled his coffee (best espresso I've had in ages - had to have a second one), and made the reservation. And what a wonderful birthday it was! We had the sharing menu and several cocktails, all excellent. The dessert, a mousse-filled kadyaif-roll topped with coconut, enjoyed with an espresso martini was just the perfect ending for a very "hyggelig" evening. I can also heartily recommend the lunch. There's the eight-dish lunch sharing menu, but if you - like me - like to eat a lighter lunch and that sounds too much, you can always choose a five- or even three-dish menu from sixteen options. The problem with the smaller menus is that you have to choose - and every option is delicious! The obvious solution to that, of course, is repeat visits...
Lots of very fresh and good food, local beer, very friendly service, we loved it
Great experience! We got a lunch tasting menu that had 4 different dishes, that were all good, especially the bacon pie. The atmosphere is nice too, with a classy yet cosy interior and very friendly staff. Recommended! 🙌
