Frede & Vesters

Frede og Vester’s was pleasant enough this time around. The service and atmosphere were fine—calm, friendly, and easygoing—but the veggie omelette had a bit too much going on. Too many elements competing, when something simpler would have let the flavors shine. Not a bad brunch, just slightly overworked where it didn’t need to be. Hope to have better experience next time.

One of my top 3 favorite brunch places in Copenhagen. Food is lovely, service is great, prices are much more reasonable and food arrives relatively fast.

A cozy, welcoming spot with genuinely friendly staff. I had the chia pudding and a flat white, both were really good! The coffee was strong and smooth, and the pudding was fresh and light.

Overall very nice! I loved the atmosphere in the café. The only downside was that there seemed to be too few staff on a busy Sunday brunch, so you could feel a bit of stress in the service. Even asking for water felt a little awkward 😅. It might be great if they had a self-service water station.
