Buzzy bistro serving modern Hungarian fare, global dishes & imported wine in cool digs with a patio....
For three years already we have been loyal clients of this place, and it has never disappointed us. In fact, it has only become even better! The menu may look simple, but the experience is anything but ordinary. Every visit feels like a fine dining experience — with amazing food and truly outstanding service. The side dishes are masterpieces. You will hardly find anything as delicious anywhere else. And the dessert! There are only two options, but both are absolutely mind-blowing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely continue to be a regular and very loyal guest. When in Budapest, just to try! You would love it! Guaranteed!!
We had a wonderful evening here with our family, and it was truly one of the highlights of our stay in Budapest. The food was beautifully presented and very well executed – modern bistronomy with comforting flavors. Every dish we tried was balanced and enjoyable, and you can tell care was put into both the ingredients and the presentation. The atmosphere was relaxed and elegant at the same time, making it a great place for a family dinner after a day of sightseeing around Fisherman’s Bastion. Service was attentive without being intrusive, which we really appreciated. Overall, a lovely dining experience and a memorable night with family. Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality food and a pleasant setting in the Castle District.
Food is very good! The Goulash is very rich with nice meat flavor. The pumpkin soup is amazing, with different textures and flavor changes due to different added ingredients. The duck leg is cooked nicely to the right point, paired with also tasty sides.
This was my best meal in Budapest. The chicken paprikash and duck confit were delicious ( just why the trend of serving in bowls? It’s uncomfortable to use cutlery this way lifting your hands..) The carrot cake was divine- don’t miss it. The decor and atmosphere are perfect, nice buzz of people and music with excellent acoustics. I wish I had a restaurant like this in my neighborhood.
The goulash was absolutely delicious, and the chicken paprikash was wonderful as well. I also tried the forest fruits lemonade, highly recommended! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is tucked away on a quieter street, making it cozy and perfect for a relaxed meal.
