Great place to stop for lunch in Castle Hill Good food and the place is run by a nice elderly couple
We had 30 minutes stop during our Budapest Castle Hill tour, and the tour guide told us there is a cafe and restaurant near by, then I went there to visit this small restaurant. Very nice place, small but warm, service a bit slow but there are only two person serving all customers so it is quite understandable especially during lunch time. Coffee and food was good hence I give 5 stars rating. I would recommend as MUST VISIT when in Castle Hill, a simple local restaurant that we have to support, as they are party of the city history. You can see the beautiful plate they serve for me in my pictures.
This family run restaurant was a stand out from our trip to Budapest. Very cozy, delicious authentic food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I wish I could come back every day for a Zubr!
Great spot for light lunch and a fresh beer. Family run. Very reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere and if you're lucky enough to have the weather and an on-street table then there's no better place to sit back and watch the world go by. The Lepény and hot sandwiches are excellent. Finish off with a Budapest Coffee (apricot pálinka) and you'll walk away a happy person...
It's such a cute place that feels like home! We had our Sunday breakfast in this place, and it was absolutely lovely! The owners were friendly and welcoming. I will come here again next time I visit Budapest ❤️
