What a wonderful surprise! I had to spend some time before my train left, thus I was looking for a café near the train station. Below ground floor I‘ve found Kemenes Cukrászat, small with few tables, but nevertheless excellent cakes. I had an apple-merengue-cake and an espresso. Both were amazing! I‘ll come back for sure!
Terrible. Asked for a Latte to go, tasted more like water than coffee and was the size of a small cappuccino and no cap provided for a coffee to go... on top of everything very expensive. Bought a cheese filled pastry and was frozen. I asked if there was an oven to warm them up the lady said no. I said it was impossible to eat as it was literally frozen and raw. She simply gave me a bag to take away. Avoid this place, wanted to support local businesses but next time I will rather go to the Starbucks up the stairs.
Pastry shop with all the delectable cakes and ice cream served. Convenjently located in the vicinity of Budapest Keleti before you go up to the main train station. Ordered salad and lemonade as I wasn't hankering for sweets
Awsome and it's so tasty! Good sweet cakes and salted pastries options! Recommended!
If you are in Budapest-Keleti station and feel like sitting in a cozy Cafe‘ where you can have great coffee and tasty dessert then you should definitely visit this place! They have a big choice of desserts and cakes.
