Starbucks

I come here every few months after my train ride from Kyiv, Ukraine to Budapest, Hungary. If you are looking for a clean place with power outlets, toilets, wifi, and decent coffee while waiting for your next train or while waiting for your hotel check-in, I do think this place is ok. I'm from Washington State in the US and I have to say, Budapest Starbucks locations tend to have more pastries and beverage varieties compared to the US.

Located very close to the train station, convenient for travel. The pastry display is impressive, and the staff are quite quick to serve.

I went specially to this place to get 2 strawberry cheesecakes. I ordered them clearly- 2 strawberry cheesecakes. Then when I got the order I asked explicitly the boy if there are 2 strawberry cheesecakes in my bag, he said yes. I got to my hotel room and opened the takeaway bags only to find out there are new York cheesecakes. Real dissapojntment

They won’t ask your name here - only two quick questions: here or to go? cash or card? And yet, beyond this simplicity lies a space that is spotless, quietly inviting, even a little cozy. It is a worthy outpost of the Starbucks chain, with the pleasant detail of drinks served in proper cups. For a traveler pausing on the road, it offers just enough comfort to restore one’s strength. Wholeheartedly recommended.
