An oasis of calm in the lively city of Bangkok. As soon as you step inside you leave the chaos and are greeted with soft wooden tones. The food and drinks are not the usual fare and catering well for both meat and vegetarian. The calamari was one of the best I have had and the signature cocktails were divine. Even the takeaway container was a handmade woven bag made from wood.
I came across this restaurant randomly so I didn’t have much expectation. But the taste and vibe are amazingly good, everything I ordered, I love it. The staff is knowledgeable about their products and very service-minded. Recommend both local and tourists to visit this restaurant.
Hidden gem! Only 10 tables or. Great creative food and Thai favorites. Cocktails are so good. Lots of food and drinks are tea infused. Friendly sweet people. Language was not a problem.
Amazing place with brilliant teas and food. The atmosphere of the place is very peaceful, genuine and minimalist at the same time, perfect to really focus on enjoying the great food and teas. The staff is very knowledgeable about all the different tea blends, so ask away. It’s an amazing place, and I do hope they will soon get a well deserved Michelin star. Fantastic flavors and presentation, which re-ignited my love for Thai food, clearly they’re very passionate about what they do, which I really appreciate. Keep up the amazing work, and thank you for a fantastic meal and equally fantastic teas.
Food: 5/5, rich menu and delicious meals, everything we tried was great. There is a choice of meat/fish dishes, vegetarian, and vegan section on the menu, gluten-free and nuts markings for dishes are present too, so plenty of options for everyone. The level of spiciness or other allergens aren’t mentioned though, so make sure to ask for not spicy foods or exclusion of some ingredients specifically if that might be a problem for you. The Thai tea panna cotta with mango for dessert is really nice. The last food order is taken at 21:00. Drinks: 5/5, great choice variety, tasty, there is a tea exhibition upstairs where the guests can sniff the scents of the tea offered and decide which to order, or buy some for later. They also offer a cocktail menu. Atmosphere: 5/5, very relaxing, nice decoration and calm pleasant music. Service: 5/5, attentive, the staff watches the level of water in the guests glasses, offers hot water as soon as the kettle is empty, and when I went to wash my hands and forgot about the tea, they drained the tea from my kettle on time (they provide timers) so that it wouldn't be too strong. There’s no dedicated parking lot, but some bike parking is available across the street near the OP Place. They say reservation is recommended, but when we came in the middle of Sunday, there were only a few other guests; still, I’d say it’s preferable, as the space is available for private events, so might be booked anyway. Overall, great experience, will come back with friends.
