My favorite family restaurant ever. Suit for all children. Large play ground with Lots of children stuff. Now workshop and library room is also available.
Favorite cafe near home, with the most amazing vintage car vibes as decor and a very nature friendly playground kids as young as toddlers to upto as grown up as 12 to 14 yrs old can enjoy. They have lots of kid applealing menus, so if you have a fussy eater, I think you are sorted. We visit and re-visit again and again and again and the kids always come home exhausted and happy.
Great Food and Service. Family friendly. Have playground and art and crafts for kids to enjoy. On weekends there are also game booths for the family to play as well. Highly recommend car lovers to visit Folktales Cafe 😊
If you are a classic car enthusiast, with kids, this be the café for you. Operating in front of a car restoration garage, the compound exhibits fully restored classics and some chassis of cars from an era gone by. While the fathers may be engrossed admiring the vehicles or striking up a conversation with the working garage behind, the kids have a mini playground to amuse themselves with. And the mothers shall be sipping tea or coffee and having a cake to go along. The décor indoor is abundant with timeless car toys and strikes a heavy note of nostalgia for folks in their mid-life. Folktales also serve meals, and the one favorite of mine, the highly recommended, is Chu Chi Fried Seabass with rice. Chu Chi is a special variant of Thai curry that is enhanced with the fresh flavors of lime leaves. They do the fish so right here, using generous thick pieces of fried battered seabass that still retains the crisp even when doused with the tantalizing curry. It is the best I ever had in my years here. Every time, I will forget to take some pictures and when I realized, it was too late. So, no pic of that dish here, by try you must. Families often spent an hour or two here, releasing their children to make new friends and mingle. The friendliness spills over to the adults who then make new acquaintances as we watch our children together. The couple type visitors aplenty too, and they be occupied with what seemed like an endless stream of pre-wedding photoshoots with cars, motorcycles, photogenic corners here and there. It is also a great place for friends to just meet, chill and chat. This is a pretty appealing café & restaurant, and once you are here, you likely return as a regular (because the child will be pestering for you to come).
Great food, drinks, services and the experience is excellent. Nicely curated and laid out car and motorcycle collection with workshop out the back filled with vintage vehicles. Enjoyed walking around checking it out. The kids enjoyed the playground and the toys inside also. Would definitely come back 👍
