Snug, open-air family-owned spot specializing in handmade noodle soups & dumplings....
A tiny, no-frills noodle spot in Ubud where everything can run hot—in the best way. Fresh handmade noodles, a steaming, savory broth, and chili served on the side so you can add as much (or as little) heat as you like. Eating hot noodles in tropical weather somehow just works—like chai on a warm day. Simple benches, quick in-and-out energy, and genuinely sweet service. Comforting, delicious, and exactly what it promises to be.
🎉Google map indicates me to have a bunch here with a bunch of postive feedbacks from visitors. But if you can’t not eat something spicy 🌶️ like me, you should tell them (I didn’t, so I can’t eat the whole). All staffs and owner are very friendly and enthusiastic. ⚖️Soup is really cooked from bone so its taste is excellent (except too spicy for me). But if you can, highly recommend to this place
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely the best Hainanese Chicken Rice I’ve had! I highly recommend everyone to try the Hainanese chicken rice here — it is truly outstanding. I first ordered the wonton noodles, which were already very tasty, but I was still a little hungry, so I decided to add the Hainanese chicken rice. And wow… one bite was enough for me to realize how seriously and carefully they make this dish. I’ve had Hainanese chicken rice in many places around the world, and this one is genuinely authentic and exceptionally good. I finished the entire plate at lightning speed. The chicken was incredibly tender, and the rice was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. If you’ve never tried Hainanese chicken rice before, this is definitely the place to start. The only “problem” is that the lady owner only sells it on Sundays because she is very busy taking care of her two daughters who are in school — totally understandable! I just wish it could be available twice a week someday 😊
As an Asian with a sensitive stomach and discerning palate, I stumbled upon this restaurant during my five-month trip through Asia. I'm truly lucky. While the food selection isn't very diverse, I eat there every day, and sometimes the owner proactively shares her new creations with me, and we even discuss names and recipes. I gained weight in Indonesia because of this restaurant. I truly appreciate and love the food here, not just for the food itself, but because I can feel the warmth in it. I hope you'll always maintain your creativity and share your love for food with more people. Everyone has their own unique tastes, so always be that original you&me!
It was raining in Ubud and I was craving a warm bowl of soup — a quick Google search led me to You & Mie. What a cute little spot by the roadside! Limited seating, a small menu, but exactly what I needed at that moment. I ordered their big bowl of wonton noodle soup, and it was absolutely comforting. You can choose between egg or spinach noodles — I went with spinach, and it was perfect. The broth was flavorful, and the chicken wontons were just delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Ubud and looking for something cozy, tasty, and reasonably priced.
