One of my favourite restaurant I have been in Ubud. You don’t see those food options often in Asian countries. Everything was so tasty. Prices are very affordable and portions are very good. Definitely worth the price
As a Turkish person I recommend giving them a chance %100. We have been there 5 times in our 10 days holiday 😅 Their manti has been our favourite and their pogaca and breakfast is pretty good too. Also the people who compare the food with what we have in Turkey has no idea how hard it is to find authentic Turkish food abroad. We live in Sydney and even in Sydney it’s very hard to find the real Turkish taste there. Considering Bali conditions it’s one of the best Turkish cafe in my opinion.
Simit: That's not simit, that's just a kind of bread with sesame. 2/10 Sigara Börek: That's not "Sigara Böreği", that's a slim and long "Yufka" stick with some ingredients. Not good, not bad, 4/10 Gül Börek: We ordered spinach and leek, they gave us 2 leek borek. Not so bad, mm 6/10 Menemen: You can definetely make 10 times better in your kitchen, if you have kitchen. That served in a wood plate and that was cold. I think they should try Turkish style little pans to serve. 3/10 Baklava: When we ordered that, they said "We just have one" and we said "Ok" and that was not fresh. That was almost dry. Maybe it's better when it's fresh, so I don't know it is good or bad. ?/10 Turkish Tea: The only one good thing in this cafe, I miss that smell and taste. İf you want to drink Turkish Black Tea, you can go and give a chance to this place. Overall: Foods are low quality and they don't deserve their prices. If I see myself in this cafe again, it will be because of Turkish Tea. Not any food.
Everything was amazing. We were so happy to find this place. 💙 I’ve been starving since I got Bali . And now I’m done finally 🥰 thank you so much 🥰
I enjoyed a Large Turkish breakfast and requested that anything non-vegan be replaced with vegan hummus, as well as swapping pita bread for simit. Simit was hot and fresh. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The Turkish tea was freshly brewed, served in a pot, and generous enough for at least three servings, perfect for two people. If you're looking to try a vegan Turkish breakfast, this place is definitely worth a visit. However, I couldn’t order the pita bread because it contains egg, and the lentil soup had chicken broth, so those weren’t vegan-friendly. I hope they expand their vegan options in the future, as this spot has great potential. Thank you! 🙏🏾🌞🍀
