currently my go to for matcha in oudwest:) found randomly on the way back from vondelpark and super glad I did:) Lovely calm atmosphere, cute team, strong classic hot matcha and big selection of sweet little sides (cookies, stuffed dates) to have along with Haven’t tried, but heard also really good things about their savoury lunch options! Def recommend:))

This is my favourite Japanese getaway in Amsterdam. It feels really authentic, and every dish and drink is prepared with love, intention, and care. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a Japanese lunch or to slow down, unwind, and enjoy a lovely (matcha) tea. The team is warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Truly, a little piece of Japan in the heart of Amsterdam.

We biked past this place one day and knew we had to come back. And it was a great decision. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the authenticity were all phenomenal. The matcha is nearly unmatched. We highly recommend this spot, and we’ll be back!

On this cold winter day of the 14th of February, &Japonism opened us their door to their heart with their sweet and nurturing food and drinks. Their kuromitsu Kinako filled my spirit on this lovers day with a mouthful sensorial experience changing from your classical Matcha Latte. Highly recommend this cute place who will welcome you with care and attention.

feels like you've been transported to Japan!! the whole interior is warm, clean, and a typical japandi style it's so nice to just sit and read books or even chat with your friends! they serve a lot of japanese food (which we haven't got to tried, maybe next time!!) and lots of high quality matcha and hojicha, as a matcha lover IT IS ONE OF THE BESTTTT MATCHAA HERE IN AMSS
