It says Karibu but feels like appropriation, not really of this time and age, very colonially vibe.. Edit after response: I would’ve loved to visit, since my friend was a founder, but she got kicked out of the venture by the others, who appropriated her ideas and culture, after which she was even deported from the country… doesn’t feel very inviting anymore so I’ll pass!

Love Café Gilde! Delicious fresh vegan food, super warm hosts, and a real community vibe. You can feel the love and creativity in everything they do. One of my favourite cozy spots in Amsterdam!

Super cozy hidden gem on the Overtoom. Really delicious vegan food for very friendly prices. You don't find many places like these in Amsterdam anymore! Both the chef and the host are sweet and welcoming, and the space has a cute living room vibe. Definitely recommend!

Lovely place! Very cozy and welcoming. I really loved the huge window overlooking the green outside.The vibe is truly genuine, and you can feel this is a place built on real values. Definitely a spot worth returning to!
