We are so disappointed 😔💔We came because this place looked nice, but we were disappointed. The place was very noisy, and it took a long time for us to be served🤯 The portions are very small compared to the price❌ I paid €12.40 for my Shakshouka and received only one small piece of flatbread to eat with 😢 My friend even said, “Wow, it is really small!” ❌ I was starving after !! To finish, we were required to pay in cash, even though it was not mentioned anywhere that cards are not accepted ‼️ We would have understood if we had only had a small coffee, but we each spent around €25–30 !!‼️😢 We initially wanted to come back, but unfortunately we will choose another place next time😔💔
A small cozy café with a pleasant atmosphere and a very bright interior — the small tables create a calm and intimate feeling. We ordered a cappuccino, a hot chocolate, and a stack of apple pancakes. The drinks arrived quite quickly, but the dessert was served only about 10 minutes later. The pancakes were soft and tasty, however a slight aftertaste of old oil somewhat spoiled the overall impression. In my opinion, there was not enough syrup — it would have added more juiciness and sweetness to the dish. As for the hot chocolate, it tasted more like regular store-bought cocoa and lacked a rich, deep flavor. Overall, it’s a nice place for a short coffee stop, though there are a few details that could be improved.
We visited Mani today with high expectations which were mostly if not completely met! For food, we ordered the Braised Beef 25€ and the Chicken Waffles with bacon and an egg 20€ with a side of halloumi cheese 8€. To start off, the braised beef was delicious with my only complaint being it was slightly salty if that may be an issue for someone but in my opinion the meat was tender, flavourful and paired beautifully with the crispy yet fluffy potatoes and balanced perfectly with the acidic pickled onions. The chicken and waffles. What more can you say, it’s chicken and waffles! Absolutely out of this world! Every taste was mouthwatering. The halloumi weren’t the best, would not get again- but the baba ganoush it came paired with absolutely saved it! Super tasty! My only real issue with this whole establishment is the coffee, as an avid coffee drinker I have to be honest and say paying 4.9€ for a burnt flat white was so disappointing. It was by far one of if not the worst coffee I’ve ever had, not even a splash of sugar could save it, it was just so burnt! The affogato however was quite nice. Overall my quick review- Try the chicken and waffles but skip a coffee.
We went four times in 4 days! Honestly the food was so good, we had a different breakfast each day and it didn’t disappoint, service was really good. Everyone so kind and thoughtful. Highly recommend booking on a sunday, it was a long wait. Then the burger! The best smash burger we’ve ever had and me and my husband love and have tried ALOT of burgers in the UK. The matcha and coffee were so good to. Variety of food, everything fresh and organic (i think). You won’t regret it!
We had breakfast here and honestly loved everything about it. The staff were so friendly, sweet, and genuinely caring—it felt like they really enjoyed what they do, and their energy made our morning even better. The food was amazing, and we enjoyed every bite. Plus, the place itself is super cute and cozy. We’d definitely love to come back!
