Restaurant serving Turkish specialties from breakfast on, with a conservatory area & a large garden....
Every time we come to Vienna, we definitely go to this restaurant to sample "traditional Viennese cuisine." The atmosphere and food are always top-notch. The variety and quality of Turkish cuisine is head and shoulders above Europeans!
They have minced meat pide on the menu which they serve with cheese. Minced meat pide is traditionally 100% without cheese unless you order it with extra cheese. The waiter said kindly it is how it is at their restaurant. It's like ordering a schnitzel and you get cordon bleu because it is how they make schnitzel there.
Excellent quality Turkish food, probably one of the best outside of Turkey. Waiters were a bit slow and were distracted watching a football match. Whenever there's Turkish football games on, part of the restaurant turns into a game hall and gets very noisy. There's a prayer room which is a one plus.
Perhaps due to the central location of the restaurant, but I think that the price is high compared to the food. The food is nice and all, but it may be overpriced in my opinion. Overall satisfactory experience. The restaurant itself is located right next to the Brunnenmarkt, so you get additional experience from shopping around in the streets, where there are more than a few Turkish, Arab and Asian shops around.
The place is clean and spacious. It has a unique style. Waiters are friendly, polite and helpful. Prices are a bit expensive in comparison with the taste of the dishes. The restaurant is located in a nice area. Five minutes walking distance from the metro station. It is a family friendly restaurant. Not among the places I would love to visit again.
