Café Lorenz

I stopped by Café Lorenz while out walking around the neighbourhood. What a treat. I adored the traditional decor, and the friendly waitress. The cafe is clearly a local institution with a group of loyal regulars. Being there was like enjoying a little slice of life.

Unique local atmosphere, polite service and delicious coffee.

Great place for breakfast. Nice prices, nice interior of the restaurant, tasty food and coffee. Also the service was very helpful even in english. When in Vienna again, we will come back!

Great traditional Austrian cafe, I loved the calm, down to earth and slightly old-fashioned ambience and would totally disagree with the person who criticised the atmosphere but maybe they were hoping for something more trendy, for us as visitors to Austria it was a true gem and the food was delicious in a classically Austrian way and the prices reasonable. We had Wiener Schnitzel but the pork version I think, with homemade potato salad and it was spot on. Would definitely visit again next time we are in Vienna.

We liked it. We were here on Dec 14th 2019 for breakfast. It was very nice. I felt we got a good flavour of Viennese life. Scrambled eggs with mushrooms were lovely. Coffee was presented in a lovely manner. Good value too.
