Der Mann

Chanced upon this cafe located in the middle of a park for our first meal in Vienna before checking in to our accommodation. It is a good choice! We ordered beef goulash and cheese cake. Both delicious and satisfying. The waiter is attentive, polite and professional. Keep up the good work!

We'd missed breakfast at our hotel and needed to eat something before exploring the streets of central Vienna. Der Mann was more than a pleasant surprise, it was perfect!!! Although the menu is only in German, Ertu quickly helped us out with whatever we needed, from recommendations to translations. The Chicken panini is definitely the standout dish; The Goulash hit just the right spot, it'll keep you both full and warm; The Chocolate milk was creamy and beautifully presented. I'm not much of a Café guy myself, but Der Mann was easily my favorite dining experience in Vienna, so much we went back for seconds;) What started as a quick snack to keep us on our feet turned into a three course delicious brunch/dinner. Ertu's hospitality and kindness made sure to make us feel right at home. He treated us like genuine guests, thank you so much brother! I have a feeling Der Mann will be a necessary stop next time I'm in Vienna, so go ahead and include it on your itinerary as well.

The service is excellent, the food is delicious. It would be nice if the cheese and ham in the croissant were not cold, but it's still delicious)

Der Mann is a nice bakery brand in Vienna, but they also serve hot meals. Unfortunately, they are of the price of a real restaurant. Although the taste was good, I can’t say that I would come back for these prices. Portions are not the biggest for the price too.

We came to this place with friends for a late breakfast and were very satisfied. The service was quick—our order was taken and brought to us promptly, including both food and drinks. Everything was delicious. The dishes were served to all five or six of us at the same time, which was very convenient. We really liked the atmosphere—it’s a beautiful and cozy place.
