Late night stop for some ice cream. Bit pricey but right next to the tram stop
Despite the fact that coffee and hot choco is very expensive (as in all of Vienna in general) part of the staff was very friendly.
Quite rude staff, come here as a tourist and you’re immediately met with the austrian classic of “this is Austria we speak German here”. Do you have to be fluent in the language of every country you’re visiting? Coffee tasted very good though.
Coffee and a danish. Delicious
I lived for three months in Vienna and I came almost every morning here to have my coffee and a croissant. The place is cosy and comfortable and has all the charm of a neighborhood café with its regulars, its elegant sixties decoration of leather and wood and it's array of typical Viennese Torten. Coffee was excellent and always came in a small tray, accompanied with a very appreciated glass of water. I came to know and like the personnel, who pampered me and my little dog. So, if you are staying in Wieden or visiting the Karlskirche or the university, give it a try!
