Cafe-Bar Blue Box

I really love this bar, and I think the drinks are also really good. But there is one waitress there with blonde short hair, who is just absolutely horrible. She’s always pissed off and the most passive aggressive person you will ever meet. I will not be returning solely because of her. And do not recommend to come.

This bar is the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. It’s uncomplicated, and cosy without trying too hard, and the waiters are genuinely friendly in a way that feels personal rather than professional. The sandwiches are unbelievably good; honestly, they’re so good I haven’t really managed to explore the rest of the menu yet. The fries are excellent too, and prortions are generous. Prices stay comfortably moderate, which only adds to the charm. You can tell this place is more than just a business to the people who run it, and that warmth comes through in every visit.

Stopped by for a couple of beers and some burgers. Food was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Was a lovely bar / cafe with reasonable prices. Would 100% recommend

Everything served hot! ✨ Nice atmosphere, good service, delicious food. The atmosphere at the Blue Box is really lovely, both during the day and in the evening—I’ve visited three times while on holiday because it’s so convenient and consistently good. The place is very music inspired so there’s a nice energy from the art and record player. The food is fresh, high quality, and tastes amazing and the servers are surprisingly nice for how cool they are.

Friendly staff and quick food service. I got the Bronson (I think?) sandwich with the roast beef. It much bigger than expected and good. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. I would go back just to have the sandwich again. The server was kind and spoke English as well. Good experience.
