Weekday mornings are the quietest
this place is a really authentic and warm cafe with excellent service and good food! the vibe inside is quiet and slow, the waiter was extremely friendly and the food also came freshly made. my family and i enjoyed this place greatly! they are also located a short walk away from schonbrunn palace, so its a nice quiet getaway from the crowds if you need it :)
We went to this place before going to Schönbrunn Palace just to have a quick, not-too-pricey breakfast, and it definitely checked the box. We tried the omelette and cheese omelette with rolls — simple but nice, and the price was good. If you’re looking for a basic breakfast spot, this is the place to go. The staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend it!
Lovely hot breakfast consisting of omelets, croissants, with the usual espresso, latte, cappuccino options. Friendly service and modest prices, although cash only. Very convenient to the U4 station.
It's a place to see and stay to arrive at this chilled atmosphere! Some people eat, chat, they might have a laptop in front of them when having breakfast way past lunchtime, nothing is uneasy here... Everything goes! I like this place a lot. Close to Schönbrunn 🦋 as well! Famous and with lots of history, you can see it!! By the way, a real true old-style waiter! There is one difference though! He is more friendly than usual waiters are. Do not expect a friendly talk! I don't mean that. A good viennese waiter is discreet and silent. By the way, daily food is very inexpensive and very well cooked. Most people in this place are customers for years. 5 stars! Thanks to have such a place! 👍
I brought my mother here to experience a traditional Viennese cafe as she was visiting Vienna for the first time. The male waiter was incredibly rude from the moment we arrived, shouting in German when we were clearly tourists. Finally when he explained in English he was complaining about our dog who was already sitting under the table quietly. Of course, we left immediately and would not recommend to anyone with a dog or who wants to have a nice experience at a cafe.
