Contemporary laidback venue open from breakfast on, offering a global menu & an open-air terrace....
We ordered a chicken coconut curry and received egg breaded chicken fillet, cut and dumped into a sauce that tasted like supermarket sauce with no trace of coconut. Not sure how they get away with it.
The Sachertorte and the Wiener Melange were great. The view and the ambiance were lovely. The staff were friendly and spoke English with a clear, proper accent. Our child loved the hot chocolate, and I satisfied my tea craving with an Earl Grey tea 😂
Really really really delicious food and coffee. Beitifully served and spiced to perfection. Good coffee. A lot of ( or better say mainly) Asian dishds with many options for people with food alergies. Service and food was delivered very fast even thoigh it was a full house on Saturday lunch time. Dishes are reasonably priced for Vienna (13 - 19 eur for a meal, under 13 for breakfast and snacks) Portions were a bit too big for me. ( just being curious how this place works- I watched manager taking excelent care of the service personell, jumping in instead of them when needed, communicating to guests and solving situation with utmost care and effficiency. ) I liked the part of the Cafe that had a lot of natural light but I found the rest rather dark ( though comfortable). And I think they should have menu in English as well - given that they are atached to Leopold museum. We had to use translator app to order. Advice : book a table for peek times /days to asure a better possition of your table.
I had wiener melange and apple strudel as a snack. It tastes great and the service was super friendly. It seemed to be a popular spot for lunch.
Services in this restaurant is very friendly and of high standards. The chef has managed to turn two ordinary lunches into a modern art exhibition; fitting for being part of the museum. Do go visit.
