We made it our breakfast spot for the 3 day trip to Prague. Everything was incredible, only sorry that we didn’t have more time to taste the rest of the menu and for sure repeat those banana pancakes.
Always Worth the Wait! Venue in Prague’s Old Town is one of those cafés that you’ll want to visit no matter what — but be prepared: it’s almost always busy. Seriously, even if you arrive at 8 AM, there’s a good chance you’ll find a line waiting. The popularity is real, and it’s easy to see why. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The menu is full of fresh, high-quality ingredients and offers something for everyone — hearty breakfast plates, creative brunch options, sandwiches, salads, and plenty for vegetarians or anyone looking for gluten-free choices. Everything is beautifully prepared and packed with flavor, showing the care that goes into each dish. The staff are friendly and efficient, but the real charm comes from the energy of the café itself. Even with a line, the vibe is upbeat and fun. The space is cozy yet lively, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed meal or just soak in the Prague café culture. So yes, it’s busy — probably always busy — but that’s part of the experience. The food, the atmosphere, and the quality make waiting totally worth it. Venue is one of those rare places where a little patience turns into a really rewarding visit. Don’t let the line scare you away — this café is a must-try for anyone exploring Prague!
Venue in Prague is a truly charming spot with a warm, elegant atmosphere and excellent attention to detail. The food quality is outstanding, and everything feels thoughtfully prepared. Their pancakes are simply exceptional — perfectly fluffy, light yet rich, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Every bite feels indulgent without being heavy. Easily one of the best pancake experiences I’ve had in Prague, and a must-try for anyone who appreciates a great breakfast or brunch. If you want it shorter, more luxurious, or Instagram-style, tell me and I’ll tweak it exactly to your taste 😌🥞
Venue is absolutely worth the wait. We had about a 60-minute wait to get in, but once seated, it made sense why this place is so popular. The food was really good—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is great too, lively and welcoming, which adds a lot to the overall experience. Service was a bit mediocre and could be more attentive, but honestly, the food and vibe more than make up for it. Would definitely come back.
The food and the drinks were superb. I wanted to take the chef back home with me to Texas. We had the plum wine, cappuccino with egg nog. For the food we tried the sweet potato hash, banana pancakes, bacon french toast and potatoerosti with salmon. Everything was delicious. We waited about 30/40 minutes in line but it was definitely worth it.
