The Light Tea House

Such a relaxing place for a beautiful tea. Such friendly and knowledgeable staff. Unique! It is quite hard to find, it’s upstairs and then outside a shop!

A hidden gem just a few minutes from Náměstí Míru! The owner is a true tea master and helped us choose the perfect tea. The White Peony was fantastic, and the Berry Tales had amazing flavor and a hint of sweetness. The bubble tea is one of the best I’ve ever had — real tea taste! Don’t miss the Tangyuan dessert. They also host tea and ikebana workshops — can’t wait to join one!

I wanted to say, there is no place in Prague to get such good quality of tea. But actually, there’s no such place of my knowledge in Europe. The location makes you feel in the private garden and the attention to details is fantastic.

I have been here twice now, and it’s been absolutely lovely both times! There are so many teas to choose from, and if you have questions about the types, the staff is knowledgeable and happy to answer. The foods are also great - today I had TangYuan, which is my favorite so far. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, with nice music playing and beautiful paintings all around. The paintings are for purchase, so you can take your favorite home. Top notch place, can’t wait to go again :)

Magical, very special hidden gem of a place… it was so peaceful, serene, delicious, interesting… a great place to reset and rest… the sweet and salty Chinese treats are all vegan… large selection of very interesting teas, coming in all kinds of beautiful tea pots. The decor is beautiful and elegant and cosy. The owner, Susi, was extremely kind and welcoming and explained everything to us. I highly recommend this place!!! (You have to go through the porcelain store and upstairs to arrive at the tea house.)
