Counter-service coffee chain offering hot drinks, iced coolers, sweet snacks and sandwiches....
Lovely coffee, and the croissant with goat’s cheese and jam was absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced and set in a lovely area — definitely worth a visit! ☕
So… I come here a lot. Like, “multiple times a week for the past year” a lot. And honestly, the coffee itself is better than Starbucks — consistent, strange pouring practices, and usually consistent, the reason I keep coming back. There are a few baristas who’ve genuinely warmed up over time and seem more service-oriented now, which I really appreciate. But here’s the thing: I still can’t figure out why the majority of the staff look like they either (a) passionately hate their jobs, (b) passionately hate people, or (c) both. I can’t tell if this is generational burnout, local culture, or just this specific shop’s vibe. It’s confusing, because the brand itself is known for being warm and friendly… and this location sometimes feels like the opposite. Another observation — in a whole year of coming here, I’ve literally never seen a single guy working behind the bar. Not a criticism, just… interesting? Anyway, today was the moment I finally decided to write this review. I waited at the counter — along with a few people who ordered before me — while the barista sat in the corner staring at her iPad for a solid five minutes. No eye contact, no “I’ll be right with you,” not even a nod. Just… nothing. You could’ve swapped me with a houseplant and she wouldn’t have noticed. And then, when she finally did get up to start making drinks, she coughed directly into her hand — a deep, congested, smoker-energy cough — and then immediately began pulling shots and touching customer items. No handwashing. No sanitizer. No “sorry about that.” Just straight into drink prep. I honestly had to blink a few times like, is this real life?? Also, can we talk about the customer interaction dynamic? When you have a customer standing right in front of you and you literally refuse to look up or acknowledge their existence because you're “setting things up” on the counter right in front of them — that’s just strange. Like, in most cafés around the world, this would be unthinkable. Here, it almost feels normal… but it really shouldn’t be. I want to love this place. I really do. The coffee is decent, the location is great, and the branding is usually on point. But something about the service vibe here just does not match the warmth and energy the coffee brand is known for. Overall: 3/5 — solid coffee, but service that often feels cold, disengaged, or downright unsanitary. Hoping things improve, because this place could be more popular with just a little more care and customer awareness.
It is a bit expensive but very good coffe and croissant!
This is a nice located coffee shop in Prague 2. It’s right by the corner of an intersection and they have huge window lounge seats. It’s quite spacious with many lounge seats. My daughter love this place, she got to choose nice cakes. The kind barista kindly brought our order to the table. Thank you
Great coffee shop with a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered a tomato and mozzarella sandwich and a hot chocolate with almond milk. The server was friendly and they warmed up my sandwich. All in all, a simple and calming environment to stop by for a quick breakfast or lunch.
