My favourite coffee place on Karlin until today's situation with one of the staff members. I ordered a cup of coffee and took over a free table at the end of the room, after a little while a man came, looked at my table and told something to one of the staff members after that I was told that this table appears to be reserved. On my reasonable question, why there is no reservation sign on the table, I received an amazing response from one of the staff members "I did not know that there is a reservation", so I assume that any person can come to the coffee place and take over the table that is already taken by other customer, just saying that they have a reservation, especially if that person is Czech and other person is a foreigner. The staff did not offer me any other free table with the same comfort level or apology drink. So in the case if there would be no free space at any other table I would be forced to leave a coffee place. I hope that a place owner will speak with his employees, as this kind of behaviour is unacceptable and makes a coffee place unfriendly to foreign customers. P.S.: If your coffee place was almost empty your staff members could offer the man to take other free table as non-reseved table was mistake of staff and not solve it by asking me to move to other table. As I already mentioned tables with the same comfort level were taken at that moment, and table near the window was taken by me only after other person left the table, at the beginning I was forced to move to the big table where other person was sitting. With the same result staff members could apologise to the man and ask him to wait until other table will get free, but as you said coffee place was almost empty, so what was the reason to move me? The man could take any other table if coffee place according to the staff was almost empty.

⭐️ service is always friendly accommodating and helpful. ☕️ coffee is great with latte art on most. 🥐 croissants are usually good but sometimes they can be hard and stale. 🍰 cakes are always very good the mango cake is very nice. 🐶 dog friendly 🍷 small selection of wine 🍹 small selection of cocktails Sometimes depending on the barista and the drink they give you it in completely different sizes.. one day you can have a full mug of chai latte or cappuccino with great latte art, the next day 1/2 a mug of coffee and 1/2 of foam.

Lovely coffee and treat stop right on the walking/bicycle path. Indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent staff and charming environment. The baked goods were amazing! Highly recommend 🇨🇦

They brew fathers coffee and interestingly they offer sweet paste (probably replace of sugar) Coffee was average of specialty coffee places. Interior is chilly and the terrace seats have beautiful views of riverside. Stuffs speak English and are kind.

Lovely place for having an awesome coffee. Or breakfast. Or some sweets. Or a nice drink. Or a beer. Whatever you want :) Really nice atmosphere and awesome service. Can only recommend! We were in Prague for only one day but had to come back three times :)
