Café Foyer at the Main Station is a cozy spot inside the train station where you can grab coffee, snacks, and quick meals while waiting for your train. It’s a convenient place to relax for a bit, with a casual atmosphere and easy access for travelers. Historic building is in art nouveau while Foyer adds Modern and contemporary elements into it. Coffees (Capp, Latte and Irish coffee) and croissant are ok. Staff is fast and professional. Overall ambience is pleasant.
☕ Foyer Café is located inside Prague’s main train station and is a lovely surprise. The café is spacious and bright, making it a great spot to relax before or after a journey. The coffee is good, the pastries are yummy, and the overall vibe is very Instagrammable 📸
Beautiful cafe with delicious food, desserts and drinks! We had a relaxing lunch here after arriving to Prague by bus. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is calm.
We were absolutely mesmerized the moment we stepped into Foyer Café. The décor is stunning—warm wood paneling, elegant floral wallpaper, soft globe lighting, greenery draped throughout the space, and vintage suitcases used as part of the interior styling. The overall look feels like a modern reinterpretation of early 20th-century design, with touches that evoke Art Nouveau influences through the floral patterns, soft curves, and the airy, decorative feel. A staff member kindly explained to us that the café was reconstructed to resemble a space from around 1920–1922, which makes sense—the combination of historic detailing and contemporary finesse gives it a unique atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and refined. The cocktails were fabulous. We ordered the Old Station and the Shanghai Spritz, and both were beautifully presented. I especially loved the Shanghai Spritz—the floral garnish was gorgeous and the flavor was perfectly balanced, refreshing, and memorable. For food, we ordered the omelette sandwich, the beef pastrami sandwich, and a butter croissant. The croissant was so good that we immediately ordered a second one—flaky, buttery, and truly exceptional. The sandwiches were delicious as well, especially considering the very reasonable prices for such a stylish café. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service made the experience even better. The staff member who assisted us was incredibly kind and professional, contributing to the relaxed and enjoyable vibe of the place. Foyer Café gave us an amazing experience from start to finish—beautiful interior, great cocktails, delicious food, and genuinely friendly service. We would definitely return the next time we’re in Prague.
Consider Foyer Café as a little portal to 20th century Prague where you can order a fancy drink, dab your mouth with a silk handkerchief then flutter off to your platform. Or live totally in the now and sway on a swing to bask in the flow of your honey cake.
