Wowow I loved it so much it is my favorite theatre love it so much 🤍🤍🤍 we were on the pillowman🦖 it was amazing👍🏻
Small cozy theater with great antic vibrance
Nice and cozy theater with great artists. Though I suggest avoiding first row - it's too close, compromising views.
The Rokoko hotel is situated in the middle of Wencesclas Square giving it a prime position to explore the area. The staff and cleaners are good and the rooms are comfortable with air conditioning.
Typical European mid-level hotel. The real gem to this hotel is its location, located right in the middle of Wenceslas Square and easy access to the major attractions. Note that other reviews in other places say you need to go through the mall to get to the entrance of the hotel, that is not correct. The entrance is on the main street. Look up and there is a HUGE blue sign that says Rokoko. You need to look up, though. Everything is within walking distance, you just need to figure out the short-cuts through the labyrinth of the city to reach them. I walked from the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Astronomical Clock and then to my hotel as part of a walking tour. It took awhile, but is doable if you are in reasonably good health. Tour buses literally congregate and start from across the street from the hotel. Note that the hotel is basically in the middle of what is Times Square so the atmosphere definitely changes after the sun goes down. A bit seedier, but I never felt unsafe nor had anybody attempt to pick pocket me or anything like that at all. PROS: Location. Starbucks next door, a nice little mall next to the hotel. Clean with nice staff all the way around - which means a lot. The rooms are a bit dated, but what you would expect. The bathrooms have been modernized a bit. If you don't mind the street noise, which isn't that bad IMHO, then get a room with a street view. Amazing view of the square, totally worth it from mid-day, early evening, and sun rise. The best part of the hotel. CONS: The square turns seedy after dark with streetwalkers outside the hotel. Its not like the US where they are dressed up in nothing, they look like any other tourists, they are just milling around and won't bother you. Plenty of other regular tourists around, but it just has that feel to it. If that bothers you, would skip the hotel but its not as bad as others make it seem. Noise, you do get street noise. Its not a quiet residential area, so keep that in mind. On a positive note, there were some great street musicians playing in the early evenings and often had free music in my room, which I liked. If the noise is too much, ask for a non street facing room - but you will sacrifice an amazing view. CLIFF NOTES: Great location, clean rooms, nice hotel staff. Centrally located next to tour bus starting point, tram, and metro. Easy access/walking distance to major attractions. If you want Intercontinental or Four Seasons, this isn't it. If you want to get a feel for the city and people in a typical European hotel. perfect. Breakfast is typical, but not American. So no bacon and hash browns. More like some sort of salami or sliced meat and a boiled egg. There are hot dishes that they change every morning.
