Catcafe

This place is a must for cat lovers that visit Prague! It's a bit different than a classic cat cafè, it's not really a cafè but an apartment with a kitchen where you can make a coffee by yourself and eat some biscuits, while other rooms have tables and sofas where you can sit and play with cats. You can drink and eat as much as you want, payment is based on how much time you spend. There are 9 cats and they are all beautiful and full of energy, they play or they let you pet them. The place is also very silent and pleasant if you want to just relax while studying or working with the company of cats. Unfortunately I must report that some rooms have a strong bad smell of litter box and they give a bad impression in terms of hygiene. This aspect should be improved. Also consider that the quality of drinks and food is average and nothing special, you go to this place for the cats and not for the coffee. But at the end I am satisfied with this place and I would certainly come back if I am in Prague.

The cats were so chilled out and friendly. We were the first ones there so all the cats came to see us and my husband and I managed to cuddle at least 6 cats. It was well with the time there and I would definitely go again. The smelll wasn't too bad and some room were better welling than others but overall all the cats lloked well looked after and loved.

I was pleasantly surprised with this cat cafe though some people write negative reviews. They might have not visited other cat cafes 😁 the smell of cats is natural, as you never know when they want to go to use toilet. The concept is not as regular cafe but - you pay 150 korunas for the first hour and 1 per minute after that, get coffee, tea, lemonade, cookies and whatever you want from the kitchenette, and go sit and play with cats (or play Xbox, if you want) There are 3 rooms with cat trees and toys, some of them are sleeping (many cats are seniors so they may sleep a lot!!), some of them come to make friends, and so on. Just like cats! They have plenty of space and are clean and taken care of. Spent an hour in this beautiful and cozy place, and if I haven't had work to do, I would spend another hour there :) very nice place, they have also a book with bios of the cats. The man who works there was friendly and helpful, and told us some interesting facts about the cats! It was also perfect that you can just walk in, without a reservation! Thank you!!!

Lovely spot to spend a few hours. It’s more a Cat house that has some café than a café with cats. There was definitely a slight problem with the smell, they had the windows open which helped a lot, but there are a lot of cat litter trays that need a deep clean (quite common with plastic trays). The service was perfectly fine, the cats were super friendly. Some wanted to come and be picked up. Some wanted to sit in your lap. Some were happy to watch from a distance. They are clearly very well looked after and there’s even a book so you can learn more information about them. The current price was 150 crowns for the first hour, then an additional 1 crowns per minute. The drinks are from a coffee machine which is self service and the food is prepackaged snacks purchased from a shop. We were happy to spend a few hours there working, the Wi-Fi is good, would probably go again, but do not go here for the food or drinks come here for the cats!

What a lovely hidden gem! Wherever I go, I always look for a cat cafe! And this one was probably my favourite yet, as soon as you walk in you're greeted by a couple little kitties! You pay for the first hour and then a small amount for every minute past that, you get snacks and sweet stuff included and drinks, all unlimited whilst you sit with the fur babies. You have to change your shoes into slippers, to protect the cats. There are some absolutely beautiful friendly cats there, theres a group of tuxedo cats that LOVE to play with the toys, so definitely do! They come and sit with you, and want attention, so its so sweet! The one eyed little fur baby was just pure lovely, they had such a nice temperament, I loved them all! Highly recommend going!
