It's unbelievable that in 2019 in Europe you can't pay by card for 6 euros. In many other countries, you can pay for any amount, even 20 cents. Shameful and outdated.

It's true the place isn't clean. But hey, for a Richard brand coffee at the counter, you're not taking too much of a risk. Plus, you can get it to go. And it's right outside the Stalingrad metro station. The clientele is rather diverse.

The welcome and service were appalling. Dead cockroaches at the bottom of the glasses! This establishment will be reported to the health department; it's not only unpleasant but dangerous!

One of the last old-fashioned neighborhood cafes! We go there for a strong espresso at the counter before work and a good beer as an aperitif. Worth trying before Boulevard de la Villette is completely disfigured by soulless bars with plastic zinc and placo!
