The food is good in quality and taste, but portions might be smaller than expected when looking at the price. The staff is kind and efficient, just a bit overworked on peak hour on the weekends.
Had the pleasure to dine here with my friend today and the food was absolutely fantastic! Wide variety of fun and healthy options, all delicious. Service was also incredible, this place is a must try in Paris !
The food and coffee we had here today was excellent. We like the atmosphere and enjoy the view. The service is great. I will certainly come back again when I’m back in Paris.
A very good place to grab a cup of coffee and a cake or pastry. I enjoyed that they also had a nice large cup of filter coffee, next to the usual types. The cheesecake was tasty, the babka aswell. Overall a great place to chill around the area.
Is there any açaí lover around❓ Cause if there is, I wanna say that I went to République of Coffee and I ordered an açaí bowl and what I got was... not an açaí bowl. 😓 That thing was (almost) a soup and the açaí flavor was very weak. Açaí is supposed to be mixed with something like guaraná juice (some also mix it with apple juice when guaraná isn't available). I don't know what was in that mixture, but it wasn't very sweet and I didn't like it. 👎 Also, and that's not specific to this venue, in an açaí bowl there should be granola and banana 🍌, and the rest of toppings, even if they look nice, don't match as well. Especially, I dislike any fruit that's acid. In my bowl that day, there was, at most, 1/2 a banana and it's not like there was a huge quantity of the rest of the toppings either: 2 grapes, 2 raspberries, 5 blueberries, a 1/4 of kiwi, very few grams of granola. 👎👎 About the rest of the food, the eggs benedicts were nice and well plated, but the pancakes 🥞 and eggs were just pancakes with 2 sunny-side-up eggs on the top, and one of them came broken. 🫤 The service was kind of slow, but the place was cozy, as the weather was chilly but sunny and we were sitting by the window. Prices were moderate. Count €15 per person for 1 drink and 1 dish. Just make sure this last one is not an açaí bowl. 😅 . . . Quality & taste: 3/10 Quantities: 7/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Originality: 5/10 Ratio price / quality: 7/10 Service: 7/10 How I felt afterwards: 4/10
